YRY 2003 MUNICIPAL SERVICES
Course contents are the definition and nature of public service, structure of local public service, service distribution between administrations, production of public services, municipal services, the special provincial administrations and it’s local public services, the municipality and it’s local public services, the village and it’s local public services and the current amendment.The student will be able to comprehend the concept of local service, the task shairing between diffirent administrations and the current legislation in Turkey.
 
İŞY 2841 STATISTICS
Course contents are the introduction to statistics and basic concepts, variable and the variable types, levels of mesasurement, data collection and creating frequency tables, statistical series, tables and graphics, measures of central tendency, measures of spread, normal distribution, standard normal distribution, regression and correlation, skewness and kurtosis. The student will learn the basic concepts of statistics, to analyze the quantitative data tables, to calculate the central tendency and distribution measures and to use SPSS programme for editing of data.
 
İŞY2851 LABOR AND SOCIAL SECURITY LAW
Course contents are the history of labor law and source of labor law, bacis concepts in labor law: Employee, employer, vice Principal, workplace, employment contracts, termination of employment contract and severance pay, charge and types of charges, working times, types of allowances, occupational health and safety, labor union, employer union and confedarations, collective labour agreement, strike and lockout, social security system and social insurance, insurance premiums and unemployment insurance.
 
MUH 2821 PUBLIC FINANCE
Course contents are the classification of public economic activities, classification of government expenditures, classification of public revenue, budget balance, relationship between budget and debt. The stundent will parepare a budget, distinguish the public economic activities.
 
YRY2517 MANAGEMENT
Course contents are the concept of management and managership, to categorize the businesses, business environment, purpose and responsibilities of business, reason for starting a business, location and location selection, locatin factors and the purpose of establishment, capacity, business management functions, basic business functions, function of production, function of marketing, function of finance, function of human resource management. The stundent will do business establishment operations, attend the management activity of business.
 
YRY2521 CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
According to this class, students will examine the new public management, governance in the process of globalization, information society, e- state, citizen oriented management, total quality management, theory Z and Japanese management style, contingency and system approach, risk management, time management, stress management, crisis management, ethics, benchmarking, lean organization, performance management, accountability, participation, subsidiarity, e- democracy and local self- rule.

YRY2523 AUDIT IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
It is aimed that the students to be able to comprehend diffirent aspects of public administration, bureaucracy theory, concept of administration and it’s factors, supervision in public administration and concepts of control and supervision. At the end of the class the student will know the structural and functional aspects of public administration, will comprehend the importance of audit in public administration and will gain the audit skill. Course contents are the structural and functional aspects of public administration, function of supervision in administration, history concept of function of supervision in public administration, approach of audit in public administration, new public management approaches and audit, types of audits and political audit, judicial review, legislative audit in presidential and parliamentary government, hierarchical auditory, system of supervision, the control of public opinion and nongovernmental organizations, transparency, professional organisations with public institution status, obdusman as an audit, Turkish audit practise in public administration with current changes, cort of accounts, concil of state, internal audit and audit of local administrations, independent autonomous authorities, local public utilities.
 
YRY2529 PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND DEVELOPMENT
It is aimed to establish the relationship between public administration and development, to discuss different approaches and debates about this issue. Course contents are the meaning of development and capital accumulation, historical process of development philosophy, development process of today’s developed countries: UK, USA, Germany, France, Sweden, Japan, changes of institution in developing countries, development theories, development perionds in Turkey, sustionable development, green growth and Rio +20, regional development policy, regional organizations in Turkey and examples, local Administration and development, the effects of European Union to local development, the activism of municipality about local development.
 
YRY2519 OCCUPATIONAL ETHICS
Course contents are to examine the concept of ethic and morals, the ethics systems, the factors of moral, the occupational ethics, the results of corruption and unethical behaviors in professional life and the concept of social responsibility.
 
MUH2516 TURKISH TAX SYSTEM
Course contents are to calculate to the commercial earning and the income from agriculture, draft to the withholding tax return, draft to decleration of Value Added Tax, calculate to the self employment income, calculate to the revenue of real estate capital, calculate to the revenue of chattel, income and revenue calculation, tax calculation, draft to the annual income and the decleration of corporate tax, draft to the withholding tax return, draft to decleration of Value Added Tax. The students will able to figure to the legal transaction and to follow the tax debt and penalty.
 
YRY2525 POLITICAL SOCIOLOGY
The purpose of this class is to present sociological perspective about state, rulership, elites, power, civil society, public policies, which are the basic subjects of political science. The students could have sociological perspective about political science. They comprehend the concepts, theories and models about social and political subjects with multi dimensional perspective.  They could be respectful to cultural and individual differences.
 
YRY2527 LOCAL POLITICS AND DEMOCRACY
It is aimed that the students to be able to integrate knowledge of local administrations and politics and to gain awareness of the importance of local administrations on democracy and to internalize democratic methods in local administrations. The student will be able to comprehend the relationship between local administrations and democracy, will have knowledge about democracy models, local democracy, will recognize the roles of local actors for local democracy, the rights and responsibilities of the citizens, will have the necessary skills about the concept of governance and local participation mechanisms.
